monday's oncology appointment went great - single needle for blood and single needle for IV. 'CK' gets the medical tech award for tapping the left arm again. i have had one major surgery, two or three outpatient surgeries, a dozen chemo IV's, and at least 7 MRI contrast IV's, and she is the only one of all of them who has been able to hit anything in my left arm without blowing it out.anyway, so far this week the double hit of chemo has been a bit more stern than usual, but not too terrible all-in-all. in a few minutes i will take tonight's chemo pills which will put me more than half way through this week's treatment.
a week or so ago my family had a little party for me to celebrate our one year surgery/diagnosis/survival. party was complete with cake and gifts. the pic below is a t-shirt they had made for me. btw, TMF does not stand for the music factory or texas music festival, but stands for Tough Malignancy Fighter. again, thank you family and friends and Father for helping me make these last 12 months.
my next MRI is scheduled for this friday morning. i will probably hear about the results sometime next week. please continue to pray for and with me about that.
Love the shirt!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I wonder who came up with the design for the shirt...
