if...

yes, it has happened again - another two weeks has flown by. it's time to go see the oncologist. tomorrow at 1 i will be doing just that. if you recall, my doctor gave me a break from my chemotherapy last time i went in. tomorrow, i would love another two week break; but i am praying God would give the doctor the wisdom to know what is best. i'd love a month off from chemo, but not at the cost of having new tumors or reoccurrances. if any of you are in a praying mood please join me in praying to that end.

this coming week will be quite stressful with work either way. if i didn't have chemo tomorrow i could almost be assured of being able to go to work on tuesday. if i do have chemo, please pray that i would be well enough to make it to work. i really need to get all my work done this week; i am hoping to go to the beach next week. our family has a condo/house in NC that we've rented for the week. we are all very excited about it. it will be me, mom, don, catherine, my brother, his wife and all 6 kids!

i'm not a father, and my earthly one has gone to be with my heavenly Father almost 19 years ago; but i hope to be one myself someday - so happy father's day everyone. i know this song is more a wedding daddy/daughter kind of song, but it is a good song by one of the best singers ever. enjoy.
