...the weary world rejoices
over the last 24 hours i have had no less than eight needles stuck in my body at various times and sundry places. yesterday was my latest avastan chemo treatment (yes, two weeks already).
this coming monday, the 13th, i will get my next MRI. this test will probably be the most important one i've had since when i first got sick. this scan will determine if my tumor reoccurance can be treated chemically, surgically, or at all. needless to say, i am quite nervous about the results of the scan. the thursday after the MRI i will be seeing my surgeon to hear all about it. please continue to pray with me about this. we have done 2 months of expanded chemo, and constant prayer; i hope and pray for a clear improvement of my tumor.

advent has begun.therefore since we have been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
more than that we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance.
and endurance produces character, and character produces HOPE.

I Turned to my bible quotation of the day...thinking it might apply to you John and of course it did.
ReplyDelete1 Peter 4:12-19
12. Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
I am keeping you in my prayers!
Praying... May God will give you peace as you rest in Him waiting for your MRI results this week.
