no, it hasn't been two weeks yet. time does fly between chemo treatments; but we are only one week on the last one. all-in-all, not a bad week. i haven't felt the greatest; but also didn't get physically sick this time (so far). thank you for your continued prayers in this regard.
even though we are not ready for our next chemotherapy treatment; and update is in order. my next MRI will be this coming friday morning. if you recall from previous posts my oncologist wants to see 6 to 12 months of clear MRI scans before 'considering' scaling back the chemo treatments. if this scan is clear friday that will be 7 months of clear scans. however, i know my doctor, (some trust in chariots, some trust in horses) it will take nothing less than divine intervention for him to give up control (treatment). he tells me he has already mapped out my next course of treatment. i honestly can't imagine any situation where he will willingly stand down the treatments. please pray for this situation. pray that the newest scan will be clear. pray that God will be in control of the next steps. pray that i can accept those whatever they may be. i will not see the doctor until the tuesday after the MRI. i may not be able to give an update before then; if that be the case please pray for that meeting.
thank you so much for your continued prayer. the last couple weeks have been great. i saw a couple super-good movies (moneyball (which my brother-in-law likes to call monkeyball) and 50-50). i am also taking a mini-vacation next weekend. i'll be excited to post my next update all about it. early this week, if all works out, i will get to catch up with a high school friend who lives in the NW now. so as usual, lots to be thankful for; lots to look forward to. thank you for not forgetting me.

ReplyDeleteHeard you've had a rough week. I'm sorry. I'm praying for God's healing and that you won't have any more seizures.
