yes, we are all still here; despite the 'guaranteed' rapture that was to take place saturday. among other things that means i have to get up at 4-something tomorrow morning, and about 1 in the afternoon i get my next round of chemotherapy.
please pray with me about monday's chemo. pray that the nurses will be able to get the IV in the vein on the first try (last time it took 5 trys!). pray the doctor can give me something that will work to help me with nausea. pray that i could have the courage and peace to do the treatment without complaint or bitterness.
not this week, but the following week i will have my next MRI. i will update the blog when i have it scheduled; but it is not too early to start praying about that. please pray that i will have a clear scan. i can't bear the thought of doing more of this chemo regime. it has been rough and seems to be compounding.
i can't say i am surprised about judgement day; but i am a bit disappointed. hearing about the total abandon those that believed it lived by makes you think. it really could happen any time; it may have happened before you read this (better call your granny to make sure). i am reminded of james 1 - that the future is not promised to anyone, so make the most of the time you do have. that reminds me of one of the hymns we sing in church that i really like:
thank you all for the prayers and encouragement. please don't forget to pray for me; it really does make a difference.
