who's to say

here we are again. "ready for another round of chemo?" they say. "i was born ready." i say. that gets a laugh about 1/4 of the time.

tomorrow afternoon we'll try again. i am scheduled for my triple shot of chemo - avastin, irinotecan, and carboplatin. please say a prayer for me. the last cycle was really rough for several days, and that didn't include the carboplatin.

in other prayer requests - please pray for me as i am having trouble sleeping. i also have several important things going on at work. in a couple weeks i will get another MRI. LORD, give me the strength to meet my commitments at work, to be a reflection of your light, to sleep well, to be able to eat. Father, please heal my brain, heal my sinuses, heal my stomach. thank you Father for your goodness, your mercy and your compassion. thank you for my family, thank you for my church, thank you for my doctors and my treatments.
